    Dr. Vikram Deep Monga is working as a Professor in the Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry of this institute. He did his M. Pharm, Ph.D., from a highly prestigious research institute of National importance in India named as “National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research” (NIPER) Mohali. He has completed his Master of Pharmacy and Ph.D. in Medicinal Chemistry. He has received prestigious ‘Young Scientist Award’ during his Ph.D. for the proposal submitted under “SERC Fast Track Proposals for Young Scientists Scheme” as Principal Investigator from the Department of Science and Technology (DST), New Delhi. After completion of his Ph.D. work, he joined as Postdoctoral Research Associate at Chicago College of Pharmacy, Midwestern University, IL, USA, where he worked on design and synthesis of peptides/functionalized amino acids as neuroprotective agents.
